COVID-19 Is a Bummer – It Can’t Stop Good Things From Happening
Here are a few of the good things I witnessed or experienced today:
- Saw a dog jump into a pool below a fountain. The dog knew how to have fun. Thanks for the reminder my canine friend.
- A simple black bean soup is working its magic in my slow cooker. It’s going to go great with a piece of crusty Italian bread and side salad. Simple, delicious, and nutritious. Grateful.
- Met two neighbors on my walk – we kept our social distance. We caught up on a lot of stuff. Nice to have good neighbors.
- It’s heading toward 98 in south Texas (36.67c). Blue skies, southerly breeze. I’m going to pour a large glass of iced tea and head to the patio as soon as I finish this post. Cheers!!
- The times are tough, but we can help each other find a reason to smile, even if it is watching birds, a lizard, or a monarch butterfly. We’re another day closer to winning. Hang in there.
What I share are seemingly small and inconsequential things, but they are priceless to me.
Grateful for all the above.
