💡 Something to Think About

Spread the love

When I was a kid I’d go fishing with friends. I recall using a small red lure called a “daredevil” to catch pickerel. I’d cast the lure near lily pads and hope I’d get a strike. The lure worked fairly well and soon I’d get a strike and a large pickerel would leap out of the water with the lure stuck in its mouth. If the pickerel let the lure pass, it had another day to enjoy life. How many times do you and I snap at the lure someone tosses by us. If we only let it go, the day would have been a happier one. Today, let the lures pass by and enjoy life.
