At one of my academic stops a colleague and I were at odds. One could cut the tension with a knife. It wasn’t pretty. We were both to blame for the situation. Then, the unexpected happened, we sat alone and both apologized to the other for harm done. We agreed the war was over and we would cooperate. The next four years, while I was at that institution, were the most cooperative and meaningful I spent in academia. When we set aside differences, forgive the hurts we received and ask forgiveness for the hurt we caused, everything changes and changes for the better. Shine on. Stay healthy and strong. Ray
It definitely is. 🙂

That’s a great and inspiring incident, Ray. It’s always best this way. No point of holding on to one’s ego. Thank you. 🙂
