The giant live oak tree in my backyard is a good teacher. During a recent ice storm, the live oak bent with the winds, it didn’t resist the ice sticking to its branches and leaves. When the sun broke through, the live oak was still standing, looking good. Like the live oak, we have to bend with life’s storms. We learn to dance with the tough moments knowing they don’t last. The sun peaks out and we know it it’s all going to be okay.
