Covid – 19 Life Hack

Wish You Had Lysol Wipes When You Head Out?

I ran out of Lysol wipes the other day. I like to keep a pack in the car. I used them for the touch pad at the gas station, opening the door to my gym, and, depending on my shopping venue, I take one to wipe down the cart handle. What to do? Check out the Covid – 19 Life Hack below.

Here’s Today’s Covid – 19 life hack:

BD24C441-E5EC-4819-B49E-2757B430C54FI take a paper towel (I use select a size). I lay it flat on the counter top. I spray it with my 99.9% virus killer spray. I fold it and place it a zip lock plastic baggie.  Boom, I’ve got my wipe for the gym door, touch pad at the gas station, or the store cart.

šŸŽ Today’s Health Tip ~ Time to Clean Your Smart Phone

How to Clean Your Phone

Your smartphone is seven timesĀ dirtier than a toilet, reported USA Today in Feb. 2019 based off of several research studies. . . . According theĀ Journal of Hospital Infection, coronaviruses canĀ live on glass Ā . . . for up to nine days, so it’s important to disinfect it regularly.

Use a solution of 60% water and 40% rubbing alcohol toĀ clean your phone. Turn off your phone first and avoid any charger or headphone ports (if liquid gets in those itĀ could damage your phone). Use a cotton swab to rub disinfectant solution on the phone, but squeeze out any excess to avoid dripping. Wipe the phone dry with a clean cloth immediately. If you have an iPhone this is still a good way to clean your phone. Admist coronavirius concerns, Apple updated its cleaning guide to say you can use “70% isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox disinfecting wipes” toĀ clean your iPhoneĀ as long as you’re careful to avoid openings in the phone.Ā If you have aĀ plastic case, take it off your phone and wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe.
