If you’re anything like me, you’re independent, self-reliant, and have an inner belief you can handle anything. I discovered that worked for me until . . . it didn’t work anymore. There are times when no matter how strong and self-reliant we are we need other people or we won’t make it. It’s a humbling experience to reach out my hand to grasp that of a person extending their hand toward me to pull me up. For me, it was LESSON LEARNED. The following short YouTube video demonstrates how geese already learned this lesson. They rely on each other as they fly in formation. Enjoy the refresher course on teamwork.

See, Reflect, Decide
If you’re like me, you may make snap judgments. Sometimes, my judgments are right on target. More often than not, I wished I waited to learn more. I needed to hear the other person’s story. I needed, for a moment, to place myself in his or her shoes. It’s a humbling experience for me to know I was wrong. The following short video gives insights into the different possibilities that you or I might have with our first judgment. Enjoy

Our Place In The Cosmos

Every once in a while it is good to have a healthy dose of humility. This YouTube video produced by IBM is a lesson in human perspective and our place in this wonderful Cosmos.
