  1. Love the honest modesty in this quote. I find on so many occasions we may tend to berate our work in a hopes that it’ll paint the piece in a prettier light — but it’s of wisdom to admit if it’s a good piece or not. Thanks

    • Thank you for your insightful comment. In my experience I listen to my heart (right or wrong). I recall a time when I submitted an article for publication and it was rejected by five prestegious journals. Yet, I had this deep feeling what I wrote was important and it was good. It was accepted by a prestegious journal with very few modifications. Sometimes you have to suck it up and keep on going. You brought back a good memory, much appreciated. Have a great day. Ray
