Be Grateful for the Good Things You Already Have
Noticing and writing down things we’re grateful for creates a positive neurological loop that encourages us to keep it up.
Here are my 5 positive things for today. What are yours?
- I woke up feeling healthy.
- I text with my daughters (They’re all healthy and doing well).
- I had a great workout at the gym (and I feel safe while working out – everyone is trying hard to make it a safe environment).
- My neighbor told me his wife and he are expecting a baby girl (they are great people and will be great parents).
- Last night’s hail storm was loud but didn’t do any damage.
Honestly, I found myself smiling the entire time I wrote my grateful list. Try it.
