I went to the grocery today. I’m in the checkout line. I carefully watch to make sure everything is scanned correctly. I’m on top of it until it’s time to leave. I see a friend and say hello. I started to leave with one of my bags still in the checkout lane. The fellow behind me called and told me about my forgotten bag. I said a grateful thanks. Small, simple gestures such as this guy made help make the difference between a bad and good day. Simple things, little things, are often big things.Â
