I’ve known many people who were so close to an attainable goal who quit. And, I’ve known many people who struggled and sacrificed until they reached their goal. They were often not as talented as those who quit, the difference being that they refused to give up. They kept working and grinding until they reached their goal. Keep working and grinding, you’re doing fine. Don’t quit.

When I was guiding doctoral students, those who completed their dissertations and earned their doctorate were those, who like you, refused to quit.
