Resiliency is like a bouncing rubber ball. Toss it down, it bounces up. In the same way, when we take a hit, dust it off, get up, and get going. Resiliency is a mark of people who survive and thrive in all types of situations.

Thank you for your comments, Terveen. I always look forward to reading them. I was chatting with a recently widowed woman after church this week. Her tank is nearly empty. I felt a great empathy for her, yet all I could offer was a listening ear. The more times we face challenges and have to bounce back we find our resiliency strengthens. It’s much like lifting weights. It’s a reason to be grateful for the challenges and bounce backs. Shine on. Stay strong. Ray
