Today’s Thought: The Fighting Spirit

I was speaking with an elderly woman this morning. She recently underwent knee replacement surgery. Prior to her surgery she said, “Ray, I’m not going to be an invalid. I’m going to keep fighting. The doctors wanted to give me injections, I told them to replace my knee.” Well, she did it. She’s still in therapy but she is walking without a cane (most of the time) and driving her car. I admire her toughness and spirit. Go Rosie Go!
