I get Joe’s fear. I once was trapped in an elevator and it was racing from floor one to floor 14 and back. I thought it was going to crash to the bottom. I hit the emergency stop and it came to a sop two feet over where it was supposed to stop. The doors opened. Now that was a big step down. For sure. True story. Maybe that is why I now live in a one story home. LOL
