I received a notice from my credit card company warning me about several new scams that are making the rounds. Scammers are not limited to the digital world. Scammers are those who try to con us into believing things that are not true. They speak with confidence that the lies they share are, in fact, truth. Often, we get scammed by them because we are taken in by surety with which they speak and we put our confidence in them. One way around it is to adhere to the old railroad crossing warning: Stop, look, and listen. It’s easy these days to fact check. We have Google and various AI instruments that can help ascertain whether someone is lying and scamming us or telling the truth. Don’t be scammed.
