Succeeding Against the Odds

One reason why I enjoy watching sporting contest is that regardless of what all the sports talk show folks say, the contest has to be decided on the field or court. When an underdog surprises everyone with an upset victory, it gives us all hope that no matter how great the odds are against us we can succeed if we don’t quit. When our favorite team is favored in a contest loses, we feel the loss as deeply as the players. Yet, there is an important lesson here. No matter how good we are at doing something, we’re only as good as our last attempt at doing it. Keep learning, keep improving, never quitl
