No mountain is too high for you. No road too rugged for you. No odds too tough for you to overcome. No matter the stuggles of your journey, you are made for the moment. Believe it!
Better life
A Better Life ~ We’re all Imperfect.
We’re all imperfect. We all get it wrong at times. When we can recognize the imperfections in ourselves it makes it easier to be compassionate toward those we live and work with. We can wave them closer and welcome them to our imperfect world. Our understanding and acceptance grows and is most often mutually reciprocal. C’mon cut yourself some slack and offer the same to others.
A Better Life ~ Put Your Shine On
Grab the buffing rag and the can of polish. It’s time to put a shine on. C’mon, you can do it. Think about it for a moment. You’re alive. You’re reading this post. You’ve got an open road in front of you. Your best days are in front of you. Grumpy folks are not allowed to board this train. Bring your shine.
A Better Life ~ Love is a Priceless Gift
Love puts a song in one’s heart and it never stops playing. It gives a man or woman the power to climb the highest mountains or swim across raging rivers. Is a priceless gift.
A Better Life ~ Catch the Beat
Folks that can’t dance try to hard to think about the dance steps. People who can dance don’t think as much about the steps, they feel the beat and move with it. It’s organic and natural. It works the same way in life, feel the beat of the moment and move with it making it organic and natural.
A Better Life ~ Enjoy Life a Bit More
We have to-do lists and check lists We ask our digital assistants to remind us of what to do. We’re running 100 mph (160 Km/h) and getting no where fast. Why not move out of the fast lane, knowing life will still go on whether or not we complete a to-do list. One doesn’t have to be superman or superwoman to be happy Remove the cape, put the superhero suit in storage, and enjoy life a bit more.
A Better Life ~ What Are You Going to Do?
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do / with your one wild and precious life?(Mary Oliver)” – Life is a gift. We didn’t ask for it. We received it. Each moment we have is a gift and a precious treasure. When we receive a precious gift, what do we do with it? I imagine the gift is cared for with deep love. It is kept in a protected place where others can see it. Are we not more valuable than any precious material gift we might receive? Why not treat this gift of life we have with deep reverence, gratitude, love, and use it to produce something beautiful.
A Better Life ~ It’s Possible
When we begin to think of what is possible and cast aside doubts we set ourselves in motion to make the possible a certainty. Thinking in possibilities asks us to take a real step immersing ourselves into work of making the possible, possible. Don’t let doubts or naysayers hold you back. The only way the possible becomes impossible for you is if you stop trying. Keep on keeping on. It’s possible.
A Better Life ~ Unlock the Chains that Bind
Believing things are impossible or that we are not worthy of good things are chains that bind us. We have the key to unlock our chains. When we discard false beliefs and embrace new, empowering beliefs we insert the key into the lock and free ourselves from the chains that bind us.
A Better Life ~ Meals Can Bring Us Together
When I was growing up in my Italian family meal were a big deal. We didn’t have much, but there was always plenty of pasta. It was time for all the family to be together. The meal wasn’t rushed. We stayed at the table until everyone was finished eating and often remained well beyond the eating. There were no TV or other digital distractions. We were together. Meals are great ways to bring people together, it can be a family meal or a date. The meal provides time for people to renew with each other. Try it for a month. It will make all the difference.
