We socially construct our reality through our conversations and interactions with others. We can choose a different reality by changing the direction of our conversations and reshaping our interactions.

Our energy goes to where our attention flows. A question we can ask ourself: Is my attention focused on what brings the biggest benefit?
đź’ˇ Something to Think About ~ The Measure of Success
What is your measure of personal success? Does it arise from some internal drive? Does it come from words spoken by others? Does it come from society? When we listen to our inner voice, we’ll know the standard for our personal success. It will be different for each of us.

Rich or poor, we all have the same measures of time. We have twenty-four hours in a day, sixty minutes to each our, and sixty seconds to each minute. Once used, we can’t recapture it. Fill the time you have with love, kindness, and compassion. Fill each moment with making today better and building toward a better tomorrow.

I enjoy going to the rodeo. I watch the bronc or bull riders and am constantly amazed at their courage to hold on for the required time – eight seconds. Eight seconds and the ride is completed. Eight seconds is a great metaphor for life’s challenges. We don’t have to hang on forever, just long enough to ride it out. Don’t let the day’s challenges overwhelm you, hang on for eight seconds.

When I was a kid I loved baseball. I dreamed of being a major leaguer. I could hit a ball a long way and catch anything hit in my direction. I couldn’t hit a curve ball and my dream ended. We all have dreams of what we want. It’s great when our dreams align with our true gifts. If we discover our true gifts, chances are they’ll whisper a new dream in our ears.Â

It matters where you are now. This moment calls you to do something good in this space. In this space and time you have the opportunity to create something lasting, something special and perhaps put a smile on someone’s face.Â

In every good relationship there’s a bit dancing, of giving and taking. It’s not all me or all you, there’s a lot more of we. Those who know, know.Â
đź’ˇ Something to Think About
The vast majority of my days are great days. That’s not to say my days are free of bumps and bruises. I have my share. I begin and end my days the same way. When I wake I offer my thanks to God for my night’s sleep, for feeling healthy, for my home, children and neighbors. I finish the day the same way, thanking God for all the good things that came my way during the day (and there are many). I can’t help but smile when I am naming the things for which I’m grateful.Â
🍎 Today’s Health Tip ~ How Much Iron do You Need Each Day?
How Important is Iron for Your Body?
Iron is important in making red blood cells, which carry oxygen around the body. A lack of iron can lead to iron deficiency anaemia.
How much iron do I need?

You should be able to get all the iron you need from your daily diet. Women who lose a lot of blood during their monthly period (heavy periods) are at higher risk of iron deficiency anaemia and may need to take iron supplements. Speak to a GP or a registered dietitian for more advice.
What happens if I take too much iron?
Side effects of taking high doses (over 20mg) of iron include: constipation, feeling sick, being sick, and stomach pain  Very high doses of iron can be fatal, particularly if taken by children, so always keep iron supplements out of the reach of children.
