Feel Good Tip for Today

How Large is Your Circle?

I know a guy who believes he has the whole truth. He can’t be dissuaded. His mind is locked tighter than Fort Knox. I don’t like to hang out with him because the conversation is about himself and his work. He has no time or interest in anyone else. The folks that I know that are the happiest are those whose circle is big enough to include other people; folks who continually seek to learn; folks who have a deep interest in what others are doing. I hope you’re one of the people with a large circle that can hold many others, your mind is open to new ideas, and you take a deep interest in others. The world needs more like you.

What If . . .

What if I regained the curiosity of a child? If were to regain the curiosity of a young child, my creativity would know no bounds. I’d take chances and become an explorer of all that piques my interest. Fear would take second place to the possibilities of finding something new. We can’t turn the clock back, however, we can fan the embers of our curiosity and discover more fully the amazing world of which we a part.

Something to Think About

Consequences happen. We can deny the existence of reality and use language to support our erroneous claims. Yet, there are consequences for all of our actions they are coming like the rising of the sun. Consequences are like my credit card, they come due. If I don’t pay my credit card on time, there’s interest to pay. There’s no way out. It’s true with credit cards and it’s true in our lives.
