I might be wrong, but I think life is better when we set differences aside and work together. Why fight and hold on to anger and resentment when peace and happiness are a better choice?

💡 Something to Think About
It’s raining at the moment and the parched south Texas earth was sorely in need of it. It’s like love. We become parched and dry without love. When love touches us, it warms, renews, and heals. Let those close to you know how much you love them.
💡 Something to Think About
I’ve seen authentic happiness in the poor dancing to mariachi in the market place. I’ve seen it in people helping each other. I’ve seen it in a mom or dad caring for a child. Happiness happens in the most simple places.
💡 Something to Think About
I don’t think one ever finds peace without forgiveness. Hanging on to the hurt allows the hurt to control and inflict pain on us. Forgiving takes the power away from the pain and replaces it with peace.

💡 Something to Think About
Life would be boring if we all agreed. Our differences help us to learn from each other and grow. Listen, learn, grow. We all share the same home, planet Earth.

Deep within you is an acorn waiting to be watered, waiting to sprout and break into the sunlight and become a giant oak. You have a greatness, perhaps, yet unknown within you. Keep digging. Keep searching. It’s there waiting for you.
💡 Something to Think About
There’s a big difference between being alone and feeling lonely. Being comfortable in one’s ‘aloneness’ begins with one learning to love oneself, warts and all. When that happens the person in the mirror becomes a best friend and loneliness disappears.
💡 Something to Think About
When I moved away from home and began to create a life different from being a child and living with my parents, I called home frequently to connect with my mom and dad. When they died, I was sad at the loss, but I felt no regrets. I loved them and they knew I loved them.
💡 Something to Think About
I think of the moments in my life where I was the happiest. I think about what was happening and who was there. What was it about these moments that brought me happiness? How can I make more of them happen? I know it is possible.
