When we live our lives in a way that is open to all possibilities, we open ourselves to new directions, dreams, or hopes as they introduces themselves to us. Change happens, when we’re open and flexible we easily flow with the current.
When I think of surprise I think of excitement and curiosity. My mind becomes open to possibilities and new insights. Once, while riding through the beautiful Kansas Flint Hills I recall having a creative insight that led to several great opportunities. I didn’t see it coming, I was surprised. Life is full of surprises. I think you have to be open to receiving surprises before they appear. Surprises can’t be programmed or planned. They happen.
