What If . . .

What if one didn’t listen to news-related podcasts or watch the network or cable news. Instead, what if one chose to read the news online from credible, competing perspectives news outlets. One might be challenged to think about things differently. Or, one might broaden one’s perspective of where the truth is in the news being reported. 

What If . . .

What if today you made a different kind of checklist. Normally we make checklists of things we have to do. We fill better when we check them off one at at time. Today, what if your check list were a list of kind actions that you plan to take? Think of how much better the world will be as you check off these items one at a time. 

What If . . .

What if you shook it up a little today and took a different route to work, ate something different for breakfast and lunch, left your work at work and enjoyed those you live with this evening? I wonder how you would experience your day. Maybe, you’ll discover something wonderful.

What If . . .?

What if you turned off the laptop, silenced the smart phone, and set the headphones, AirPods aside for one hour and went for a walk? I wonder how you’d feel. I wonder what thoughts will run through your mind. I wonder what sights you’ll see that you hadn’t seen before? Going silent for an hour  you’ll get to know yourself a bit better. And, you’ll discover you’re not so bad.
