Think of the imagery of climbing a steep hill. The difficulty you experience increases with the weight in your backpack. If you reduce the weight in your backpack you’ll have more energy to complete the climb. It’s the same way in life. There are people around us who make the climb more difficult; and, there are people around us who make the climb a lot easier. Discard those holding you back, embrace those who make your climb easier.

Yes!! That’s a correct assessment. 🙂
Thank you for your comments, Terveen. They’re always spot on! I heard a speaker who used the metaphor of tribe when commenting on people who help us or people who hinder us. The speaker suggested it’s time to change one’s tribe if the tribe is not supportive. The speaker’s suggestion has since remained with me. Have a great day. Stay healthy. Shine on. Ray
