One can go a great distance by Oneself based on sheer guts and determination. One can go a lot further with a good friend working side by side toward a common goal.

You are spot on, Terveen!! Here’s a clip for you. My doc student was about to defend his dissertation within the hour Dave said, “Ray, I was so nervous I forgot my belt and my pants won’t stay up.” I took off my belt and gave it to Dave. Then I calmed him down. The problem, my pants were going to ride on my hips, if I was lucky (LOL). I text my wife who dropped everything she was doing and rushed to the University and handed me a belt as I stood on the sidewalk with one hand on my pants and the other outstretched for the belt. Yah, life is better with a great companion. Stay strong. Shine on. Ray BTW, Dave did marvelous at his defense and is now Dr. Dave.
