💡 Something to Think About
The source of happiness or unhappiness is within us. It’s all in the attitude we bring toward life. If we want to see big, threatening dark clouds on every horizon, we’ll see them. If we want to see rainbows, we’ll see them. I think I’ll go chase rainbows today.
💡 Something to Think About
Complaining about what happened never prepares us for what we are currently experiencing. What happened, happened. Let it go and get on with living.
🤗 A Better Life ~ We Can Make Better Choices
Would you continue to eat a specific food if it made you feel nauseous? I hope not. It’s the same way with the stuff that we let enter our minds through the digital media. If it makes us nervous or angry, why let it enter? We can make choices that positively affect our well-being.
🌞 Today’s Inspiration ~ The Healing Power of Forgiveness
“The only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive.” ~ John Green

🌾 Today’s Poem ~ Look Well to This Day
Look Well to This Day
Kalidasa
Look well to this day,
For it and it alone is life.
In its brief course
Lie all the essence of your existence:
The Glory of Growth
The Satisfaction of Achievement
The Splendor of Beauty
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is but a vision.
But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
🌞 Today’s Inspiration ~ Dig Deeper, You Can Make It!
“Why is it that the finish line always tends to appear just after the point at which we most want to give up? is it the universe’s way of reserving the best for those who can give the most? What I do know, from nature, is that the dawn only appears after the darkest hour.” ~ Bear Grylls
🌾 Today’s Poem ~ Stars
O’er our tumultuous snow,
Which flows in shapes as tall as trees
When wintry winds do blow!–As if with keeness for our fate,
Our faltering few steps on
To white rest, and a place of rest
Invisible at dawn,–
And yet with neither love nor hate,
Those stars like some snow-white
Minerva’s snow-white marble eyes
Without the gift of sight.
🤗 A Better Life ~ Keep Moving, It’s All Going to Work Out
Every little thing is going to be alright. Some days it feels like we’re climbing a mountain. On those days, keep moving, keep moving. Each step, no matter how small, is a step toward the sunlight.
