What if we dared to work together for the common good? We do it when tragedy strikes; we don’t have to wait until we are pushed against the wall to act A former doctoral student gave me a small sculpture of five human figures standing in a circle holding hands. The circle is unbroken. One hand clasps the hand next to it until the circle is completed. The sculpture is a daily reminder to me that together we do much more, much sooner than we do alone.
