Yes! Onions are such a wonderful and healthy part of anyone’s diet. I put onions in just about everything. In fact, I think onions went into every single dinner I made this week. Caramelized onions went into my chicken soup, sauteed onions went into lamb curry, pickled onions went on top of steak salad, dried onions flavored the beans for chili, and tonight we’re having sweet and spicy stir-fry with big chunks of purple onions! Really, is there anything onions can’t do?
Thank you for the comment. A meal without onions? Now, that is scary. I live in Texas and the Texas A & M University developed a special sweet onion called the 1015. It is delicious. It is a staple in my cooking. Sometimes, I’m tempted to eat it as an apple. I think if anyone saw me they’d think I need an intervention. LOL Enjoy your weekend as much as the both of us enjoy our onions. Ray
