When someone trust us, they believe we’ll act in their best interests. They believe they are safe when they are with us. They know they can count on us. It is a great honor to be trusted.

“When you look ahead and darkness is all you see, faith and determination will pull you through.” ~ Drake
We’ve all experienced the dark night of the soul. It’s not pretty. During those moments reach deep inside and grab hold of the seeds of faith that exist within and push on. You’ll discover the strength to walk through the darkness and see dawn break.

Forever unconceived
Forever unrepresented
yet forever felt in the soul.
According to a 2010 University of Kentucky study that monitored the link between the immune systems of first-year law students and their hopeful approach to their studies, positive expectations for the future can help strengthen immunity (Source).
We all want to be healthy. One of the best prescriptions to strengthen our immune systems may be our attitude. Why not give it a chance. Instead of viewing your cupboard empty and your glass half full why not seeing your cupboard jam packed full and your cup overflowing and spilling down the street. Life is good and getting better.
What if I believed I truly had an amazing future waiting for me, how would I act? I, for one, believe I have an amazing future waiting for me. I have always been this way. It hasn’t mattered if I were knocked down, disappointed, or betrayed. I’ve always held fast to the hope that tomorrow is going to be better than today. And, I’ve believed I could make this day a good one. I may be foolish and overly optimistic, but I’m looking ahead to tomorrow, I know good things are coming my way. I hope they’re coming your way as well. If you keep your eyes and heart open, you’ll find them.
Each morning when we wake, it takes a leap of faith and courage to get up, put on a smile, and move into life determined to enjoy life and make a difference. We don’t know what the day will bring. It may bring great surprises. It may bring love. It may be bring excitement. And, it may bring tough times. What we can do is leap out into the unknown, spread our wings and fly. We can enjoy the good times. We know we have the strength and courage to endure the tough times. It takes a leap of faith to live. Don’t be afraid. Fly, fly, fly.
There is so much noise surrounding us it distracts us from focusing on what is really important. Focusing on what really matters brings us a sense of calm, inner joy, and happiness. For me, family, health, and living my faith have my priorities. What are yours?
All Shall be Well

All shall be well
and all shall be well
and all manner of things shall be well.
Winter hasn’t arrived, yet, I’m already looking forward to spring. I have a bit of a wait. Spring is the stuff of hope. It is the stuff of new life, new dreams, and the start of new adventures. We all have winters in our life. The winters in our life are the periods of waiting, holding on to hope, and believing that which we can’t see, will once again happen. Winter requires us to have faith that spring will return. Winter requires us to have patience. Winter requires us to trust the inevitable flow of life. We may as well accept winter and roll with it. I’m going to try to that, but I’ll keep an eye open for signs of spring.
