Here are a few of the good things I witnessed or experienced today:

  • My rose bush keeps on giving me red rose after red rose. I love its beauty. It also teaches me a lesson as well. If I want to enjoy the beauty of the red roses, I have to enjoy its thorns when I prune it back. It’s a lot like life. Grateful.
  • I am amazed at the spirit of the people who live in this area. No one complains, everyone is keeping social distance, and kind words are shared when passing each other. We’ll get through this. Yes we will! Grateful.

We’re another day closer to winning this battle. Don’t be pulled underwater by the naysayers, we are going to get through it and come out better. Yes we Will. Pull together.

The little things are priceless treasures to me. They brighten my day. I hope your day is filled to overflowing with the little things that make life worth living.

Grateful for all the above.

Here are a few of the good things I witnessed or experienced today:

  • It poured rain today in San Antonio. Grateful for the rain. The aquifer will get a recharge shot. Grateful for clean drinking water.
  • Viktor Frankl’s book, Man’s Search for Meaning, became the foundation for my doctoral dissertation and much of my life’s work. Today, I thought of Dr. Frankl and was grateful for his knowledge and wisdom. He endured the Nazi concentration camps and brought out of it an enduring message that is important to any generation facing a crises. He says, “Those who have a ‘why’ to live, can bear with almost any ‘how’.” I have my “Why” I hope you have discovered your “Why” as well. Grateful

We’re another day closer to winning this battle. We keep doing the right things, exercise patience, act compassionately toward one another, we’ll get through in fine style.

Here are a few of the good things I witnessed or experienced today:

  • Good things often happen to me when I least expect them. I went for my daily walk. I met a worker (repairing the street). We started talking. One thing led to another and we were talking politics. Our ideas were different, we listened to each other. We didn’t argue. I came away with an understanding and respect for why he felt the way he did. I hope he left feeling the same way about me and my views. Grateful for a respectful and honest discussion.
  • Three things I’ll do for sure today: Listen to music that makes me feel good. Watch a movie with a good ending. And, find time to relax and be grateful for the life I live.
  • We’re another day closer to a solution. Don’tgive up. Stay strong, keep practicing social distancing, and take time to enjoy all the signs and sights of spring.
