You Are In Charge of Your Choices. You have the right to change your mind or your direction at any time. You don’t need to feel that you owe anyone anything more than you want to give with your free and conscious heart. Anyone who mistreats you, is disrespectful of your wishes, refuses to hear you, and has no intention of changing is trouble with a capital T. Be ready to walk away without fear or guilt, and don’t look back.

🌞 Inspiring Quote ~ Walk in Love’s Light
“Carry good cheer in the morning; Carry good cheer in the night. Effort is sweeter and living completer, If ever we walk in love’s light.” — G.B. Williams
🍎 Health Hack ~ We Can Do This!
Get Up and Get Moving
Aim for a total of 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity exercise (brisk walking, ballroom dancing, active yoga, leisurely biking) or 75 minutes a week of vigorous-intensity exercise (jogging, running, tennis, biking, swimming laps). If you’re not currently active, your doctor can help you plan reasonable starting goals, bearing in mind your general health. Keep in mind that even a little bit of daily physical activity, of any intensity, is better than none. And even very short bouts—less than 10 minutes, for instance—count toward your overall goal.
🖋 Writers’ Wisdom ~ What Does Dialogue Reveal?
What Does Dialogue Reveal?
- Spoken dialogue shows the person your character wants others to see.
- Inner dialogue shows the true person, how the character really feels.
Use this knowledge to your advantage. You can have a hero who sweet talks a heroine, but his inner dialogue reveals his nose should be stretched to the length of a ruler. Inner dialogue gives the reader an edge—an inside look at a character’s true self causes the reader to know she is getting a heads-up from a reliable source. By combining both, and focusing on creating actions and reactions, you can make a scene spark.
Today’s Poem ~ Stream of Life
Stream of Life
Tagore
The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.
It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.
It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.
I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.
Today’s Smile 😃

11 p.m. I SMS my girlfriend: You of course.
Today’s Poem ~ Life
Life
Henry Van Dyke
Let me but live my life from year to year,
With forward face and unreluctant soul;
Not hurrying to, nor turning from the goal;
Not mourning for the things that disappear
In the dim past, nor holding back in fear
From what the future veils; but with a whole
And happy heart, that pays its toll
To Youth and Age, and travels on with cheer.
So let the way wind up the hill or down,
O’er rough or smooth, the journey will be joy:
Still seeking what I sought when but a boy,
New friendship, high adventure, and a crown,
My heart will keep the courage of the quest,
And hope the road’s last turn will be the best.

🤗 Feel Good Hack ~ Eat Slowly
I come from an Italian family where food was the centerpiece of meals and conversation surrounded it. We argued about politics, relatives, and whether black or green olives were better. It was always fun (most of the time). The talking and gossiping caused us to eat slowly. It’s pretty hard to eat and talk with a meatball in your mouth. Well, eating slowly is a great health tip and when you add good conversation, it’s a feel good hack.
Eat Slowly
This gives your brain the chance to get the signal that you’re full, so you’re less likely to overeat. And if you take it slow, you’re more likely to think about what you’re eating and make sensible, healthy choices.
🍎 Health Hack ~ Fuel Up at Breakfast
Have Breakfast
It’s important for a bunch of reasons. It jump-starts your metabolism and stops you from overeating later. Plus, studies show that adults who have a healthy breakfast do better at work, and kids who eat a morning meal score higher on tests. If a big plateful first thing isn’t for you, keep it light with a granola bar or a piece of fruit. Just don’t skip it.
