Keep your eyes and heart wide open for the joyful surprises life will spring upon you today. It may be as smalls as seeing a beautiful leaf fall from a tree. Perhaps someone you haven’t heard from in a while will text, email or call. And, best of all, maybe you will be the wonderful surprise that brightens another’s life today.
You are the spark that another needs to fire their passion. When you light their fire, you’ll discover you’ve turned your fire into a raging inferno.
Joe: “Want to know what I do when I’m bored, Pete?”
Pete: “Sure.”
Joe: “I text a random number with, ‘I hid the body, what do you me to do now?'”
Answer: Yikes, my organic buying friends are not going to like this answer: Organic food isn’t free of pesticides and it isn’t necessarily better for you.
Farmers who grow organic produce are permitted to use chemicals that are naturally derived — and in some cases are actually worse for the environment than their synthetic counterparts. However, pesticide levels on both organic and non-organic foods are so low that they aren’t of concern for consumption, according to the USDA.
Eating organic food also doesn’t come with any nutritional benefits over non-organic food, according to a review of 98,727 potentially relevant studies.

To ask an author who hopes to be a serious writer if his work is autobiographical is like asking a spider where he buys his thread. The spider gets his thread right out of his own guts, and that is where the author gets his writing.

I sit on the patio watching a gecko nearby on a plant. The gecko remains motionless, blending in with the plant. The gecko’s patience pays off with an afternoon snack. There’s a lesson there for me.
