Positive Thought of the Day ~ Make Time to be Quiet

“I think “quiet” sometime is a greater power than noise. It can harbor and reveal feelings that can’t be expressed.”

NOTE: When we find a quiet space we allow our minds to empty the clutter they’ve collected through the day. Quiet spaces are all around us. Tune out the interruptions and noise. Ten minutes of quiet offers new energy, insights, and a refreshed spirit.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ Dream as if You Didn’t Have any Limits

“If we don’t dream of the possible, the possible never happens.”

Christopher Reeve

NOTE: What are the limits you are placing on yourself? How do the limits you are placing on yourself keep you from making your dream reality? Is time to let go of self-imposed limits and claim your dream? This is the time. No limits. Never quit.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ Becoming New

“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” Lao Tzu

NOTE: Nature teaches us great lessons. One of the lessons nature teaches us is that everything changes. The large live oak in my yard goes through the change process each year. In march, it sheds its leaves. No sooner are the leaves shed when the new buds appear and within a week or two the giant live oak is covered with fresh green leaves. Change happens. It’s the same with each of us. We change. When we adapt to change and the changing circumstances in our lives, we grow into something new. Don’t resist the moments of change, embrace them and take on the new.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ Remember the Good Times

“Write your Sad times in Sand,
Write your Good times in Stone.”

NOTE: What wonderful advice from George Bernard Shaw. When we let our sad moments disappear like the morning dew we create room tor our memories of good times to rise to the top. These are the memories that are our reservoir of strength to navigate our way through life.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ What Are You Waiting For?

“Paths are made by walking.”

Franz Kafka

NOTE: Some years back I was having trouble making a decision when a wise old friend pulled me aside and said, “Ray, wish in one hand and poop (his language was much more colorful) in the other. See which you get first.” His folk wisdom stuck with me. Kafka was right, paths are made by walking.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ Choose Joy, Love, and Happiness

Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Laugh when you can. Apologize when you should and let go of what you can’t change.” ~ Drake

NOTE: Spend  your emotional and physical energy on those things that bring joy, love, and happiness to you and those you love. Don’t waste a second on fretting over what you can’t change or being yanked into someone else’s chaotic ride.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ Give It All You’ve Got All the Time

Never save the best for later. You don’t know what tomorrow holds.” Paulo Coelho

NOTE: No one is guaranteed the next moment. It’s a good reason to give it all we’ve got all the time. If we do, we’ll know we put everything on the table every moment. We’ll have lived a well-fulfilled life.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ Spread Your Joy and Love

Joy is strength- Joy is love – Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. She gives most who gives with Joy.” Mother Teresa

Note: Fill your tank with joy and you’ll light the way for all who come your way. You’ll turn naysayers into optimists and those who are sad will be dancing and singing all because you passed their way.

Positive Thought of the Day ~ Hope Pulls Us Through the Darkness

Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” ~ Desmond Tutu

Evil appears to have its moments, but it is an illusion. Good always triumphs. It may not happen as quickly as I want it to, but in the end it triumphs over evil. Keep your eyes looking ahead. Hang on to hope. It will pull you through the darkness into the light.

Positive Thought of the Day ~

“Where you stand determines what you see and what you do not see; it determines also the angle you see it from;

a change in where you stand changes everything.” ~ Steve de Shazer

Many of our disagreements arise from what we see. We believe what we see to be all one can see. When we shift our line of sight/perspective, we see something much different from what we originally saw. If we have the courage to investigate this new perspective it may change our perception.
