In the early evening I like to go to a nearby park. I sit and watch the sun set over the live oak trees. I listen to the mockingbirds. I watch deer run across a soccer field. I see wild tall grasses of every shade of green and yellow sway in gentle southerly breeze. I am grateful for these moments. I see the hand of God in this place. I have a deep sense of peace. It’s been a good day.

You’ll find the courage to ask the person out that you’ve been wanting to ask. You’ll go for the job that always has seemed just beyond your grasp. Go ahead, enter the ‘No Excuses Zone.’

Age is a number. I’ve met folks in their twenties who are old. I’ve met folks in their nineties who are as alive with the joy of life as a young person. Love life, live it to the fullest. Don’t fear life. Dance with it and be grateful for it.
Today’s Power Thought ~ Which Memories Fill Your Mind?
We all have both positive and negative memories . Which type of memories fill your mind? Give power to the positive memories and turn the negative memories into something positive. As I view my past, there are some experiences I would prefer not to have had. Yet, when I look at the experiences, I see how they shaped me and shaped the journey I traveled. I didn’t like the experiences at the time; today I am grateful for them.
Today’s Power Thought ~ It Just May Be Possible
We exercise to stay strong. We eat well to stay healthy. Is it time to exercise your imagination? Our imagination allows us to see things which we may not have thought possible. If, however, we can imagine it, we can create or discover it. I think I’ll grab a cup of coffee and imagine what tomorrow will look like for me if all things were possible.

What is life calling you to do? I think each of us has a calling. It may be for one’s entire life, or it may be for the moment, with other callings making themselves known at the right moment. When one says YES to the calling, one knows that this is what he/she must do and follow it through no matter how challenges one faces.

Today gives a chance to prepare for tomorrow. Tomorrow has a big rainbow waiting for us. We may have to put in the hard work and a number of todays to get to the tomorrow we want, but it’s there. Tomorrow wants us to court it and show it how much we want it. Don’t give up. Don’t quit.
