WOW! I had a great night’s sleep. I slept through for 8 + hours. My dreams were entertaining, better than most TV shows. When I woke up, I asked Alexa how my favorite teams did overnight. They won!! My day was off to a great start. I sailed through my stretches, pushups, and other exercises, turned the coffee on and headed for a hot shower. So what, you might think. Think about it for a second. You change one item, perhaps my attitude changes. No attitude change today. I am filled with gratitude for the small things, my night’s sleep, a hot shower, my exercises, and a hot cup of coffee. I’ll say WOW again. i imagine you’ve had WOW experiences today. What were they? How did they affect the way you interacted with others or felt about yourself. I sleep well. I get my seven to eight hours each night. I dream a lot. Most dreams I don’t recall. I rarely have a dream where I wake up and wonder how I’ll go back to sleep. I think one reason I sleep well is that I work at staying away from the drama. Drama comes in all shapes and sizes. The digital news pours it on non stop. People who have drama in their lives like to unload it on anyone who’s close by. Stay away from those folks. I was talking to a guy the other day and he wanted to talk about politics. He’s a nice guy when he’s not into the political thing. I told him I was leaving the conversation because I valued being at peace more than I valued continuing the political discussion with him. I’ve learned that it’s okay to walk away from drama-filled situations. If you can reduce the times and the types of people who fill the room with drama, you’ll find yourself much happier.

I grew up loving pizza and macaroni and meatballs. They were staples in my home. Now, I occasionally have a piece of pizza or two but those are on special occasions. I’ll have pasta once in awhile but forget the meatballs. And, I find joy in exercising. I like the feel of sweat and tired muscles after a heavy workout. Think about your lifestyle and think about what you can do for you and your part of the partnership you have with your doctor to maintain good health.
