Joe: “My grandpa asked me how to print on his computer.”
Pete: “Were you able to help him?”
Joe: “When I told him it’s Ctrl-P, he said he hadn’t been able to do that for years.”
Sure, if your eating greens and veggies – LOL.
Working out isn’t license to abandon portion sizes and healthy eating guidelines. It’s easy to overestimate the amount of calories you burn while working out. Adjust your calorie intake if you’re engaging in serious training, such as for a triathlon, where you might be working out more than once a day. Recovery nutrition is necessary if you are an athlete participating in strenuous activity, especially if you are participating in multiple events in the same day. For the casual exerciser working out for an hour or less, a healthy balanced diet will work.
“One thing that helps is to give myself permission to write badly. I tell myself that I’m going to do my five or 10 pages no matter what, and that I can always tear them up the following morning if I want. I’ll have lost nothing-writing and tearing up five pages would leave me no further behind than if I took the day off.”
~ Lawrence Block
A friend shared this beautiful photo. Is it a sunrise or sunset? It really doesn’t matter. For me, it symbolized peace and beauty still exists even when chaos seems evident everywhere.

Notice what’s right Experts agree that optimistic people are happier people. Those who look on the bright side experience more happiness than those who try to “see things as they really are,” according to Lyubomirsky. It’s a process scientists call reframing: If you try to cast negative events in a positive light, and you see the silver lining, you can turn a bad situation into a joyful one.
Only the heart knows how to find what is precious.
Joe: “I bought a toilet brush yesterday.”
Pete: “That’s interesting.”
Joe: “I tell yah, Pete, I still prefer toilet paper.”
The Glad Song
Joseph Morris
Sing a song, sing a song,
Ring the glad-bells all along;
Smile at him who frowns at you,
He will smile and then they’re two.
Laugh a bit, laugh a bit,
Folks will soon be catching it,
Can’t resist a happy face;
World will be a merry place.
Laugh a Bit and Sing a Song,
Where they are there’s nothing wrong;
Joy will dance the whole world through,
But it must begin with you.
