Light up the day. Light up the night. Light up the area where you live. Shine your light everywhere at all times. As the old hymn says, “This little light of mine. I’m going to let it shine.”
It’s raining at the moment and the parched south Texas earth was sorely in need of it. It’s like love. We become parched and dry without love. When love touches us, it warms, renews, and heals. Let those close to you know how much you love them.

Lessons life taught me. Success is nice, but it doesn’t keep me warm at night. It doesn’t take the place of a caring family or trusted friends. And, faith is a gift, which I hold onto with both fists. Knowing this helps me to keep my priorities in place.
