When my wife suffered, what turned out to be a psychosomatic, gall-bladder attack, I rushed her to the nearest hospital – a Catholic one. While they quickly bundled her upstairs, I remained behind to fill out the needed paper-work. The admitting clerk asked, “Religion.” I replied, “No thanks.” “Sir, if your wife dies, we need to know whether to call a priest or a minister.” “If my wife dies, you’d better call a lawyer!” 😯
