Joe: “My psychiatrist told me the voices in my head were not real.”
Pete: “What did you say?”
Joe: “I told her, they have some good ideas.”

Today, look for the best in yourself and those close to you, your work, and your environment. You’ll have a great day.
I grew up south of Boston. I was taught to love the Red Sox and hate the Yankees. Many of the things we dislike or believe are inherently wrong have been passed down to us. Is it time to question some of these beliefs and adopt new, more meaningful and relevant beliefs?
BTW – I still root for the Red Sox, but no longer hate the Yankees (Sorry, Dad. LOL).
Joy
Carl Sandburg
Let a joy keep you.
Reach out your hands
And take it when it runs by,
As the Apache dancer
Clutches his woman.
I have seen them
Live long and laugh loud,
Sent on singing, singing,
Smashed to the heart
Under the ribs
With a terrible love.
Joy always,
Joy everywhere–
Let joy kill you!
Keep away from the little deaths.
Foods naturally rich in magnesium may help a person to feel calmer. Examples include leafy greens, such as spinach and Swiss chard. Other sources include legumes, nuts, seeds, and whole grains.Foods rich in zinc such as oysters, cashews, liver, beef, and egg yolks along with foods rich in B vitamins, such as avocado and almonds have been linked to lowered anxiety.\ Other foods, including fatty fish like wild Alaskan salmon, contain omega-3 fatty acids.
“Do not be angry with the rain; it simply does not know how to fall upwards.” ~ Vladimir Nabokov
Are you ready to conquer yourself and cast out false beliefs and thoughts that are holding you back?
Joe: “I’ve learned how to multitask. I’m really good at it.”
Pete: “What are the things you do, Joe, when you’re multitasking?”
Joe: “I can waste time, ignore what I’m supposed to do, and daydream.”
I have a friend who’s first response to any problem is anger and attack. He carves a trail of conflict on his path to resolving his problem. There are better ways to resolve problems. What is your primary response to a problem? Is it one of anger and attack? Is it one to seek more information? Is it one to seek a peaceful resolution to the problem? Is it one to seek a workaround?
When was the last time you enjoy a long warm shower?
When was the last time you enjoyed reading a good book?
When was the last time you and someone special did something spontaneously?
Is it about time to enjoy life a bit more?
Have a great day and share your radiant smile.
