Joe: “Did you hear about all the break-ins at the downtown parking garage?”
Pete: “No, what happened?”
Joe: “It’s wrong on so many levels.”

At times the word stop is a word we we can activate to improve our condition. There is a time to stop drinking and think about driving safely. There is a time to stop talking and start listening. There is a time to stop doing and become more aware of what is happening around us. When we know when to stop we get a clear picture of when to start, perhaps in a new and better direction.
Research shows that dreaming is not just a byproduct of sleep, but serves its own important functions in our well-being.. . . It’s said that time heals all wounds, but my research suggests that time spent in dream sleep is what heals. REM-sleep dreaming appears to take the painful sting out of difficult, even traumatic, emotional episodes experienced during the day, offering emotional resolution when you awake the next morning.
REM sleep is the only time when our brain is completely devoid of the anxiety-triggering molecule noradrenaline. At the same time, key emotional and memory-related structures of the brain are reactivated during REM sleep as we dream. This means that emotional memory reactivation is occurring in a brain free of a key stress chemical, which allows us to re-process upsetting memories in a safer, calmer environment.
What habits are holding you back from becoming what you desire to become? What habits are moving you closer to what you desire to become? Replace the former with the latter. It will make all the difference for you.
Joe: “I went to a sporting goods store to buy some camo pants.”
Pete: “”How did it go?”
Joe: “I couldn’t find any.”
Don’t think about the advantages others have over you. That’s part of life. Focus on what you can do. Do it well. Do it better than anyone else, and work your butt off. Before you know it, you’ll be passing all those who had a head start on you. You’ll see them in your rearview mirror. Keep grinding. Never quit.
We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams.
Not everything has to be a battle. Sometimes, it’s better to roll with it. Who knows you might learn something and enjoy the experience.
Ever been told you were foolish to try and you tried it anyway? Good for you. Take the chance, live your life, learn from failure, and keep on grinding.
The cards are backed with pictures
displaying all the world.
You’ve stacked up all the images
and shuffled them with words.
And how profound the playing
that once again begins!
Stay, the card you’re drawing
is the only world you’ll win.
