Joe: “My girlfriend told me she could trust me to keep a secret.”
Pete: “Why did she say that?”
Joe: “She said, It doesn’t matter what she says to me sinceI never listen to her.”

“If you believe it will work out , you’ll see opportunities. If you believe it won’t you will see obstacles.”

Antioxidants are compounds that your body makes naturally. You can also get them from foods. They protect your body from potentially harmful molecules known as free radicals, which can accumulate and promote oxidative stress. Unfortunately, oxidative stress raises the risk of heart disease, cancers, type 2 diabetes and many other chronic diseases.Fortunately, eating a diet rich in antioxidants can help neutralize free radicals and reduce the risk of these chronic diseases.
By eating a wide variety of the following foods , you can boost your blood levels of antioxidants and reap their many health benefits.
“It is Christmas every time you let God love others through you (Mother Teresa).” We have the incredible power to brighten another’s day. It is not in so much what material things we give, but the giving of ourselves, our time, and our attention. When we enter another’s world and let them know they are respected, valued, and important, we have done something remarkable.

Moonless darkness stands between.
Past, the Past, no more be seen!
But the Bethlehem-star may lead me
To the sight of Him Who freed me
From the self that I have been.
Make me pure, Lord: Thou art holy;
Make me meek, Lord: Thou wert lowly;
Now beginning, and alway:
Now begin, on Christmas day.
“A little smile, a word of cheer, A bit of love from someone near, A little gift from one held dear, Best wishes for the coming year. These make a merry christmas!”
What if I paid for the next person in line at my local coffee shop? If I were on the receiving end, I’d be grateful. I’d have a smile on my face and a story to tell about the man/woman who surprised me by picking up my coffee tab. Next time you’re at your local coffee shop, surprise someone by picking up their tab and giving them a great story to tell.
Here’s some questions to guide you:
Joe: “I saw a sign that said, ‘watch for children.’ It made me think.”
Pete: “What did you think about?”
Joe: “I thought it was a fair trade.”
What if I visited a place of worship (church, synagogue, temple, mosque, or a sacred space known only to you)? What would I experience. My experience is if I sit quietly, with a grateful mindset, I experience a growing sense of peace and desire to linger longer than I intended to linger. I leave feeling one with those I encounter and with all aspects of creation. The feeling gradually wears off, but I know, like my car, I have to refill (or recharge) it periodically.
