NOTE: Still the negative voices. Ignore them when they scream at you. Act like the salmon who swim upstream to spawn. Put your face into the wind and keep moving. Nothing can stop you from chasing your dream if you keep chasing it. Who knows, one day you may surprise yourself and all the doubters.

What if I paid for the next person in line at my local coffee shop?
What if I paid for the next person in line at my local coffee shop? If I were on the receiving end, I’d be grateful. I’d have a smile on my face and a story to tell about the man/woman who surprised me by picking up my coffee tab. Next time you’re at your local coffee shop, surprise someone by picking up their tab and giving them a great story to tell.
What if I surprised someone with a gift they weren’t expecting?
What if I surprised someone with a gift they weren’t expecting, what would I experience? I know how I’d feel. It’s happened many times to me. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I am overwhelmed with a desire to repay the grateful act. When I’ve surprised someone with an unexpected gift my joy is experienced in the joy that person feels. Go ahead, surprise someone today.
A Better Life ~ It Doesn’t Take Much
Although it’s not classified as a disease, loneliness is prevalent among us in great numbers. It is a silent disease since the lonely have no one to turn to. The lonely sit and stare at a TV, wait for the phone to ring, or wait for someone to knock at their door. Do you know a lonely, isolated person? Stop by to say hi. Bring him/her a surprise. It doesn’t take much to make a difference and lighten the load of feeling lonely.

If you’re waiting until you believe your ready, it may be too late. Take a chance, learn as you go, you may never get this chance again. You’ll surprise yourself and everyone else as well
Today’s Good Word ~ Surprise
When I think of surprise I think of excitement and curiosity. My mind becomes open to possibilities and new insights. Once, while riding through the beautiful Kansas Flint Hills I recall having a creative insight that led to several great opportunities. I didn’t see it coming, I was surprised. Life is full of surprises. I think you have to be open to receiving surprises before they appear. Surprises can’t be programmed or planned. They happen. Are you open to the great surprises awaiting you?
