I like to dance. I like the metaphor of dancing. Whether we want to or not, life asks us to learn to dance. Just when we figure out the dance, life tosses a new dance at us and we’re asked to learn the new dance. Keep learning, keep dancing.
It’s Up to Us . . .
It’s up to us to choose to eat healthy.
It’s up to us to take care of our bodyies (it’s the only one we have).
It’s up to us to love and care for those who live with us.
If we don’t do it, who’s going to do it? To get the benefits, we have to work to acquire them.
Setting goals and holding on to big dreams are important sources of motivation for us. Do you have real goals that have the power to pull you, uncompromising, toward the future? If not, it may be time to rethink your goals.
For optimal results, you should spend a total of 60 seconds on each stretching exercise. So, if you can hold a particular stretch for 15 seconds, repeating it three more times would be ideal. If you can hold the stretch for 20 seconds, two more repetitions would do the trick.
“All good poetry is forged slowly and patiently, link by link, with sweat and blood and tears.” ~ Alfred Douglas
“Life is short, Break the Rules. Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably And never regret ANYTHING That makes you smile.” ~ Mark Twain
Feeling empty? You’ve got a lot more left in the tank than you realize. Stop thinking, get moving, and before you know it, you’ll be riding in the passing lane.
Today, take a self inventory. Ask the following questions:
When we take care of ourselves, we feel better and so do those close to us.
