It is possible to be a part of what’s going on and simultaneously be apart from what’s going on. Do the best you can to make things better. Avoid the drama and chaos.

✒️ Writers’ Wisdom ~ Write the Story First in Your Mind Then on Paper
“I can’t write a scene unless I’ve visualized it. Unless I can actually see it, and that’s why a lot of reviewers have said my books are very cinematic, because I actually do see them before I write them.” ~ Eric Van Lustbader
👊 Today’s Power Thought ~ You Will Make It!
When the tough times hit, trust you’ll get through. You will make it. When you’ve made it past the critical point, you’ll realize you’re different, wiser, stronger, and have a greater capacity for compassion for others struggling with similar challenges.
🍎 Today’s Health Question ~ Are Grains Fattening?
Whole Grains Are an Important Part of a Healthy Diet
Fact: Grains themselves aren’t necessarily fattening—or unhealthy–although substituting whole grains for refined-grain products is healthier and may help you feel fuller. . . . At least half of the grains you eat should be whole grains. Examples of whole grains include brown rice and whole-wheat bread, cereal, and pasta. Whole grains provide iron, fiber, and other important nutrients.
TIP: Try to replace refined or white bread with whole-wheat bread and refined pasta with whole-wheat pasta. Or add whole grains to mixed dishes, such as brown instead of white rice to stir fry.
💡 Something to Think About
It takes hard work by all involved to make relationships work. Good relationships are not for the fainthearted. Good relationships require heaps of love, forgiveness, and give and take. Being part of a good relationship is worth the effort.
💡 Something to Think About
Life’s not meant to be easy. Each day challenges us to grow, learn and apply the lessons learned to tomorrow. Tomorrow will teach us new lessons. You’re strong. You’re tougher than the challenges. You’ve a good mind. You have everything you need to meet today’s challenges.
🌾 Today’s Poem ~ Nature ~ The Gentlest Mother Is,
Impatient of no Child —
The feeblest — or the waywardest —
Her Admonition mild —
In Forest — and the Hill —
By Traveller — be heard —
Restraining Rampant Squirrel —
Or too impetuous Bird —
How fair Her Conversation —
A Summer Afternoon —
Her Household — Her Assembly —
And when the Sun go down —
Her Voice among the Aisles
Incite the timid prayer
Of the minutest Cricket —
The most unworthy Flower —
When all the Children sleep —
She turns as long away
As will suffice to light Her lamps —
Then bending from the Sky —
With infinite Affection —
And infiniter Care —
Her Golden finger on Her lip —
Wills Silence — Everywhere —
Today’s Smile 😃
Joe: “Guess who who woke up this morning to 10 missed calls from their ex?”
Pete: “Who?”
Joe: “My ex.”

✒️ Writers’ Wisdom ~ Do You See the Book in Your Mind Before Writing?
“I write my books in my head, and not in a specific study with a view. The view is from my inner eyes.” ~ Wilbur Smith
